Konečný, Dominik ; Kudělka, Vladimír (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
This text documents the creation of a prototype of core systems in a digital FPS (first person shooter) game. There are two goals. One is to fulfill all the requirements of the genre and to follow up on its history. The second one is to try and find new approaches to individual elements from the design perspective, but also their connections and controls. The elements themselves are movement (walking, running, jumping etc) and combat (shooting, aiming, enemies and their capabilities and intelligence). Also the work is about finding ways how to transmit information through immersive user interface, mainly virtual hands and items. Throughout the work I focus on the elements one at a time. First I shortly describe what they are and their purpuse, then a bit about their history and in the end I describe my approach.
Shooting sport simulation device
Poloch, Martin ; Musil, Vladislav (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to design a shooting sport simulation device. Output of this project should be a market competitive product therefore the design should be focused on low price. Other important aspects are safety, reliability and mutlifunctionality of the whole system. Shooting simulation is based on special technology of sensing laser beams with LED developed in author´s bachelor thesis. The system is controlled by a group of microcontrollers. Their program running and communication is a key part of this thesis.

Analysis of the success of individual game activities in an ice hockey match for HC Motor České Budějovice players
MATĚJČEK, Michal
The bachelor thesis dealt with the analysis of the game activities of an individual in a hockey match. We have divided the issue of ice hockey into several categories: game combinations, game systems and individual game activities. Their characteristics and methodology were dealt with in the most extensive chapter of the analytical part. Statistics were also taken into account as it is becoming an increasingly important component not only of hockey, but of sport in general. In this chapter, we explained why basic statistics alone are no longer enough, and we explained the available advanced statistics. Part of the analytical work was devoted to the history and development of ice hockey, both world-wide and Czech. In the synthetic part, 4 defenders and 5 attackers from the HC Motor České Budějovice team were monitored, for whom the success and frequency of individual game activities were recorded during selected matches in the last year of the Czech top competition, such as passes, 1 on 1 battles and faceoffs. Based on the obtained statistics, an analysis was performed examining the relationship between the success and frequency of game activities with the results of the match and a comparison of the success and frequency of the monitored players.

Title: Proposal on the optimal basketball training method within the physical education of children in older school age Author: Josef Růžička The study aims to find optimal theoretical model of basketball training method within the course of physical education at primary schools and general secondary schools. We focus on children in older school age. The objective is to make basketball training more effective as well as more familiar to teachers that are lacking more complex or personal experience with this sport. We use the method of experiment. First, the numbers of testing exercises to detect the level of general game skills of the children were defined. Then the model of teaching method consisting of ten setting-up (introductory) exercises was developed and implemented into a complete semestral plan. At the beginning of experiment, two groups of children were tested for their general game skills. Then our proposed model was applied onto these two groups. We aimed to develop model of teaching that would help to improve and develop basketball skills of children.
